Dave Baker (a.k.a.) DIRTY DAVE

Joining the band first of the year 2010, Dave loves playing and always gives his all when performing live !

Dave Baker is a very energetic bass player/singer/song writer who currently plays in the Triad based band FAIR WARNING.
Originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina, Dave started out as a roadie at a small club called Roadies.

Dave used to hang outside the club after school to listen to bands sound check. One fateful day he was asked to help unload equipment for Sidewinder. After that, he became a regular at the club doing roadie work for bands like: Foghat, Molly Hatchet, PKM, Nantucket and Maxx Warrior just to name a few.

Dave was drawn into music and began playing bass guitar in local bands and playing at clubs like "The Attic" & Wrongway Corrigans" in Greenville NC, "The Brewery" and "The Switch" in Raleigh NC, The Flaming Mug" in Fayetteville, NC, Hammer Jacks Baltimore, MD, "Chevy's" Atlantic Beach NC just to get started.


Dave's bass guitars:

Dave's main bass is a 2009 sunburst Schecter (Diamond J series) bass

2000 model black/white Fender Jazz along with 3 other basses.

Ampeg B2R 450W rack mount power amp

Ampeg B4x10 HLF 400W bass cab

SWR 400W Working Man 4x10 bass cabinet


After hearing that one of his favorite local rock bands FAIR WARNING was in the market for a new bass player,

Dave made a call and got an audition.


Now you can find Dirty Dave playing with FAIR WARNING every weekend ROCKIN' a town near you.

Thin Lizzy, The Ramones, Motorhead, C.O.C., old Metallica, Tantric, The Cult, old Guns n' Roses, AC-DC, Soul Assylum and list goes on.
(pretty much everything that doesn't suck).
